Terenure College RFC was founded in 1940. The club has a long and distinguished history and is one of Ireland's premier rugby clubs. Terenure have 7 adult teams in the province of Leinster. In addition, 450 boys and girls play mini-rugby every Sunday. Notable players include Girvan Dempsey, Niall Hogan, Eric Miller and Mick Hipwell.
