Wilmslow RUFC is an open community based club, offering a game to anyone coming through the gates from the age of six upwards - with no upper age limit. The club has a thriving junior section and each Sunday sees several hundred children descend on the Memorial Ground for a mornings rugby. As well as the senior first team, which plays in the English Northern Division - North One West, the club regularly fields three other sen- ior teams as well as a more occasional Fat Dads team. Every April the club hosts a mini rugby festival which attracts around 90 teams from across the UK and Ireland and involves some 2500 players across the festival weekend.'
