Mullingar RFC were founded in 1924. They play in Division Two of the Leinster League. The club colours are scarlet, grey and navy. The club has three senior teams in very com- petitive leagues and a full mini & youth rugby section. Notable players include Shane Deering, Niall Breslin (Bressie) from The Blizzards and Voice of Ireland
